It’s probably a safe guess that at some point you had to navigate unfamiliar territory. You know where you want to end up, but you sort of don’t know where you are going. It’s super easy to get overrun with fear and anxiety when venturing through uncharted space. Capturing your surroundings in your mind by making mental notes of landmarks and points of interest helps you build a catalog of valuable information. Using those acquired bits of details and your instincts provides the feeling of being in control as you continue forward.

Idea #1

When you feel in control, you have freedom over your well-being. Leaving parts of your life open to chance is a major risk to your success and happiness.

Idea #2

Being in unfamiliar territory and not knowing exactly where you are going can make it seem as though you are going in circles. Knowing where you want to go is part of being in control. When you know where you want to go, every step widens the circle and gets you closer to your destiny.
