Longevity
Author: Leading and Love
The Lindy effect suggests that age determines likelihood of failure - the older an item is, the higher the probability that it will continue to be successful. This theory applies to non-perishable objects that do not have an expiry so it wouldn’t apply to human beings. However, within our finite years, longevity has tremendous value.
*Expertise in a subject area is often supported by the number of years in the field and the quality of work. Some of the greatest contributors to the advancement of the human race have devoted much of their lives to their field.

*Relationships such as marriages and friendships are often recognized as successful for having stood the test of time.
