It’s been said that you’re the average of the people who surround you. You would have learned from stats 101 that the average is heavily influenced by extreme factors. So one bad apple can completely distort your score or one high performer in your life can give you a solid boost.
Idea #1
You can be that very positive extreme in someone’s life which implies that your average is a boost to that person’s life. Assess your environment to ensure that you’re not relying on one high caliber person to stimulate your environment but that you’re an active contributor. You are part of someone else’s surroundings. If you’re surrounded by high performers but you’re a detractor to their environment, there is great risk they will move away from you.
Idea #2
Your environment is a benefactor to your marriage. Keep close watch on the activity surrounding your marriage. Negativity breeds negativity. Positivity triggers positivity.
