Words

Author: Leading and Love

As children we were told, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.”

Words are powerful. They are conceived in our mind and made public through different means.. Once they leave your mouth, they are born into the world and you can’t take them back.

Those who heard what you said, hold you to those words. If you write down your thoughts on paper and distribute it to everyone, their perception of you is based on what you write, how you write and your tone. The legacy of some of the greatest contributors to our world is archived in books, audio, and video.

You are your words. Therefore, you shouldn’t waste them.  You must say what you mean and mean what you say.
